pool view
hrough a total fluke I ended up staying in a five-star hotel called the Quay West in Sydney. (Someone else paid for it, which is even better.) Among the extreme coolnesses was a pool, gym, and jacuzzi on the 24th floor. This is the view from there looking north at the Harbour Bridge, with the historic area called "The Rocks" below that, and the Opera House on the right. This is a little bit of a photo mosaic and there are some pieces missing, but you get the idea.
