I've misplaced the name of the recreation area this was in, but it was about an hour south of Perth. (Something like the Serpentine Dam Recreation Area.)
It's hard to show in a photo, but the light filtering through this tree was amazingly soft, almost otherworldly -- which, being in Western Australia, it nearly is.
